E-mail about welcome kit

So what are you M235 buyers receiving from BMW in a welcome kit? Just curious since I got a e-mail stating I will be receiving one soon.

So far with the new car the dealer gave me a nice but useless dealer branded fob set with pen.

When I bought my CPO 128 2 years ago I got a welcome kit that consisted of coffee mug, baseball cap, key fobs, umbrella, cheap backpack, mat set for car, spa towel.

When I got the email that my plates had arrived, they invited me back for the "BMW Encore" experience. This took the form of a free car wash and vacuum (which my dealer will always do any time I drop by) plus a gift bag and a Q&A session with the resident genius.

Everything in the gift bag was dealer branded. This consisted of a cheapish bag (like reusable grocery bags but smaller) containing a coffee cup, a USB memory stick of unknown size (haven't bothered to plug it in), a mini flashlight, and a coupon for 15% accessories purchased at the dealership (not online).

My keys both came with decent, dealer-branded braided wire keychains. I removed them because I don't habitually attach any other keys to my car keys, especially since neither both are now remote types that never leave my pocket or my wife's purse.

My sales associate also gave me a BMW ///M polo, but I think that may have been something he did on a whim because I'm just such an awesome guy.

I received the "Encore Delivery" as well and I really enjoyed it.

Also, I received a nice little gift box in the mail that had a letter explaining some special discount benefits I can get by using the included BMW card. I have yet to create the required online account and explore the bennies. It sounds like travel stuff.

I received a box with nice bottle of wine, chocolates and coffee, plus a note that the dealership made a contribution to a local charity. Pretty cool, and unexpected -- it was my first new BMW. I guess if I throw down that kind of coin on a toy for me it was nice they gave me something to share with the wife and kids.

Well The day I picked up my 228 at Hendrick Northlake they gave me a couple of coffee mugs, hats and keychains. Since then BMW has sent me the BMW card good for discounts at places I've never
heard of, A USB Fob thats only about 3 GB and then what I call my M Pen, a fancy arse Designer Ball Point Pen, so fancy they even made a video about it
