Mine has none of those, pretty basic and that's why options are not available. It just irritates me that my idrive screen says they are available on my car.

Agreed - similar equipment on mine.. Definitely annoying. Feel like the remote options are not well defined/explained.

also, i find climate control very annoying. you cant activate that "covinience climate" or ehatever it's name is (when the emgine is off), unless you go all the way from the main menu/settings/clumate... etc. very stupid design. also that volume controls are still bothering me badly, i thought i get used to them, but no, it is just a stupid design. i use shifter on the right a lot, as most of the time i drive in manual mode. my right hand os overloaded with tasks, while left hand has titally nothing on that side to share the load. Just dumb design. I really wonder what pushed them to made this change...

there is more space dedicated to that if you have a bigger screen that comes with tech package. and on my screen i can see everything including an album art

i know, but the only way to get the bigger screen in HK is to add the nav option which is approx 8.5k usd...not worth it i have a few friends who retrofit the OEM bigger screen, which i plan to do eventually...

the base price for the nav system alone is $31,000 HKD (~4000USD), plus you need to pay 100% tax for options...

Try looking under your mirror and see if there is a tiny hole towards the passenger side. When I got my F30 the compass was turned off. I had to stick a paper clip in that hole and then it magically turned on. I thought it was pretty dumb to even have the option to turn it off but whatever. Lol

This thread is making me nervous about my plans to lease a M235i, lol. D:

Considering audio plays a big role in how much I enjoy a car, all this talk about streaming music makes me uneasy. Is it really that bad? I haven't had any problems whatsoever streaming music from my phone in my mother's '13 X3. I had planned on getting my M235i with the cold weather, premium, driver assist, and technology packages, along with the harmon/kardon premium sound. And I was kind of undecided on the enhanced usb and bluetooth with smartphone integration (any advice)? Considering I constantly stream either Pandora or music from my iPhone's music library, it'd be noticeably disappointing if I couldn't do that. Would having the enhanced usb and bluetooth with smartphone integration help?

it cuts out for some people over bluetooth... go for a testdrive and pair your phone and try it... if it cuts it should do it around 2 minutes after started streaming

I mean, is it something that really only plagues the '14 models? Or is it something that's different for each individual M235i? Because the dealership I'll be leasing from doesn't have a '15 M235i in stock. So I'd have to drive a few hours to test drive one from another dealer.

Would having the enhanced bluetooth and usb help at all?
