As far as the diffuser, I wouldn't worry about it. After 10 years, the matte black plastic window trim and mirror caps on my Mustang starting getting that faded look that you're talking about. One simple application of Meguiar's Ultimate Black restored it to new. Seriously, it looked brand new again.

100% agree with all of this. I'm considering a center armrest delete or significant lowering along with a short throw shifter. We have an E85 Z4 and the ergonomics in that car are far superior to the M235i (in terms of shifter placement and feel).

Thanks! I think I'm biased by the oxidation of my RX-8's diffuser after 10 years - but the exhaust is so hot, it's not a fair comparison.

I had originally ordered the LSD, but chickened out before it hit port. My plan is to see how much I track this car and go for a Quaife unit if I decide I need one.

Great write up, these long reviews take time and effort. I had thought about the Terra interior and now I wish I had it as well, but EB/Black is somehow classic and at least it's durable.

On the trim protection, recommend Adam's Polishes VRT2. Protects against UV and water will bead off of it. Dries matte, won't add a sheen, and won't leave a residue on your fingers if you touch it.

Excellent choice on the car and glad you are enjoying it as much as the rest of us!

I still love this combo. The EB looks so different depending on the light.

I'm running Torque on the phone. I've adjusted the dials to match the night look of the dash gauges.
