AC Schnitzer ACL2 packs 570HP S55 Engine! (w/ Geneva auto show pics)

570hp and 150kgs (330 lbs) lighter than a M2.

That's a better than 2.54 hp/kg ratio! You saw it here first.

The 570hp comes from its S55 3.0 liter engine (yes from the M3/M4)!

Can't they design a new wheel style??? It's been the same wheel design since the E36 was sitting in showrooms...

Who's running that show over there!?!?

Flares are very 1M...

Wing looks good though...really good.

I wonder what it cost? Will it be available in U.S.? BTW, I like the wheels, fenders are average and HATE the boy racer wing.

Headlight hasn't been installed properly or the wider fender hasn't been designed well enough to fit the headlight properly. Rear fender especially looks awful. The lines don't flow at all with the design of the car, just a 90 degree angle for a wider fender, so lazy and ugly. And what's with the side mirrors? Looks like a deflated balloon.

Sorry for expressing our opinions, I forgot we're not allowed to do that on a forum. From this point I will like everything I see and I will not create an opinion on anything. Deeply apologize.

Ha, seriously?? Most of what I read on here is blind adoration of anything BMW or anyone else does. The car may be a mechanical marvel and a paragon of weight savings, but we don't have any details describing what they've done to hit these numbers. So, it's kind of hard to comment on that other than this or this or this or this or this or this or this or this . And aren't you kind of sick of that? All that aside, this is a design nightmare. Not only that, but it pales in comparison to what other tuners have done aesthetically (Manhart comes to mind).

Mirrors are BMW Motorsport parts, or look a likes, from the M3 GTR/3 and Z4 GTE/3. At least the rear fender is functional, meaning crazy hard springs aren't required to keep the rear tires from destroying the body work like with most wide bodies.

Can everyone just calm the **** down? Everyone has an opinion and are free to express it if they want to. I personally think the body kit ruins the stylish and slightly understated look of the 2 series, but those numbers are indeed impressive.

Never liked AC schnitzers design. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I think it looks terrible also.

You're really not allowed to express opinions nowadays that are contrary to the majority. If you do...you get labeled and hated. #sheeple

Track dedicated car with this body kit
Usually you can select only the parts you like so the power upgrade is impressive

As a track day special I love it. As a a road car, I would take the bits that matter and modify my M2. Really liking the difference that the red makes to the wheel design.

Schnitzer always goes overboard with their designs. They never know how to "tone it down".

Am I allowed to say I like the steering wheel? Although, i'd like a flatter bottom. Opposite of how I like my women (carryover from another post :-) ) I don't want anyone's feelings hurt.

Maybe we should take a poll. Have it open for a select amount of time.

Then, only the majority can lap up the juice of the most popular opinion and talk about that?

Isn't diversity awesome?

That steering wheel would be right at home in the batmobile.
