Capable of 0 to 62mph in just 4.8 seconds, we let DTM driver Andy Priaulx loose on the track in the new BMW 2 Series Coupé.

We like the tagline at the end of the video - "Black Sheep. In Red."

Too much body roll. Not a fan of how this car looks when its driving either, maybe its just the wheel and color combo.

In that opening still it looks like the 235's going to roll right over the front tires' shoulders - far too much positive camber.

Fantastic engine sound and too much body roll are what characterizes this video.

The AMG should eat this car. It's also not a competitor. Then again any Legit M car will have its way with the AMG. On a side note. Does anyone know much about a ED?

Couldn't get sound to play on my iPhone, but I did find myself angling my phone each time he went around the corner. And that's not a tight turning track either. I hope they tighten up the suspension. I don't want to drop another 2k into suspension for a car that is supposed to be a driver's car, not a grocery getter.

Of course it's lacking in negative camber... what production car isnt? Unfortunately the lawyers set the alignment specs.

I agree with everybody tho, this car is awesome. I want 1, or 2 as the case is

Gosh Bimmerpost is full of whiners. Take a look at the E46 M3 around the Top Gear test track:

I bet if all of you watched that you would complain about the body roll. Compared to my 135i stock, the M235i looks very planted. Stop complaining.

Hope the engine sound isn't piped in like on the M5. A bit of negative camber isn't a big deal to dial in. Some beefier sway bars and lowering springs will likely need to be added to satisfy most on this forum. Overall looks very promising. I just hope the brakes can really hold up to the punishment of a day at the track. The 135s brakes aren't up to snuff even though they look nice. They can take a few laps but plenty of complaints on the forums here about trying to keep them solid at the track.
