Nope. DSC Off = eLSD active, 80% exhaust burble pop, Comfort throttle, Sport steering, Sport suspension. No other button pushing will change the way the mode works. BMW intentionally chose the Comfort throttle in DSC Off so that the driver had a more linear control of the power. I agree, that is a good approach, my beef is that the Comfort throttle is just a bit too neutered with the 6MT.
What if you added LSD? Is throttle response still muted when DSC is off?

Hard to tell if it just responds better because it's at a higher rpm.

Definitely is better/ more fun to drive than just DSC off.
DSC off and manual mode is even more fun, no nannies to slow you down!

Agreed and if you don't touch the paddles it will stay in "automatic" while holding higher revs. Also automatically does the burbles.

This may be my new favorite driving mode.

Thanks for the info.

I know this has been discussed in the coding thread, but there must be a way to code out the heavy steering in sport mode....

I don't think you can code the driving modes.

My first sports car (1995 M3) had no traction control at all and only one driving mode. (Only year the e36 M3 didn't have traction control). My next sports car (1997 Corvette) had one driving mode and easily, completely defeatable traction control. So I learned how to drive like a hooligan, and not like a dumbass.

So all these new driving modes, while not confusing, are just overbearing. Just give me one throttle response, one steering wheel feel, soft/hard suspension settings, and traction control on/off and it will be much much better.

Don't know about y'all but the 1-2 shift in comfort mode is never comfortable. My shifts are much smoother in the sport modes.

I agree this is the most rewarding mode for those with the driving skills to use it and enough experience to know when to turn it off.

Folks the throttle response is not muted, it is linear! As most people with lots of track experience will tell you a linear throttle response improves your ability to control the car. Think of the linear throttle response as the performance driving option and the hyper active nonlinear response as the fun on the street let the nannies worry about controlling the car option.
