Has anyone notice moisture seeping inside the rear tail lamps? Just noticed some on the rear driver side tail lamp this morning.

When i powerwash the car, if i get too close or extend washing the rear, i get a little moisture in there...but only when i wash. No problems in the rain or whatnot.

Ditto. Noticed it last weekend when I washed the car. Same exact spot as yours.

From what I've read BMW are working on a fix, here in the UK they will not replace them until they found the fix, but maybe it's different in the US?

Not super helpful, but I had the same issue in my front fog lights on my old BMW E46. BMW did replace the lights under warranty saying the seal in the light was shot. Haven't noticed any issues in my rear lights on my M235i.

I had both mine replaced under warranty due to minor cracks forming in the rear taillight they said they were aware of the issue due to the design of those rear lights they tend to crack a little bit i posted pictures about this a long time ago.

Mines been replaced already 2 times due to moist inside. Guess Finnish fall/winter is too severe for those.

Spoke too soon, noticed moisture in both of my rear light assemblies today. We've had quite a few thaw/freeze cycles with some pretty wild temperature changes lately. Not sure if that might the culprit. I'll also check for the cracks highlighted by Alden in the daylight.

There is certain electrical parts that can fail due to the moisture build up in the light so get it done as soon as possible or you could be looking at electrical failure to and not just replacing the tail light fixture. Water+Electricity never a good combo unless your trying to kill a enormous shark in a giant swimming pool.

I used to have this problem in my Acura RSX front lights after power washing. I found taking the lightbulb seal off and letting it sit for a couple hours cleared it right up. Not sure how easy it is to do in the 2 series though.
