I just got my car back from the dealership - had it taken there for an alignment. They gave me a print out with everything passing, but I just noticed that the print out says X1 front wheel drive model! Did they align my car to wrong specs?

Does your vehicle drive straight? If it does, seems like a non-issue to me.

Might drive straight but if you get accelerated wear or fly of the road when you dive into your first 130mph turn...

I called them, they are supposed to call me back. From what I see, there wasn't much adjustment done to the alignment at all, it was pretty much in spec.

It's in spec, but to a FWD X1, not to your 2. Not exactly sure how they can eff this one up so badly - they are supposed to scan in your information from the barcode, or use your VIN, and the information to your car is supposed to pop up automatically. At least that's how the Hunter machines work.

I wouldn't let a dealer touch my car for an alignment. They don't give a damn about if your steering wheel is straight if it's in spec and drives straight-ish.

The dealer still hasn't called me back to resolved it, but I'm kind of hoping its no big deal. The before and after specs seem to be more or less the same, so hopefully I'm fine.

Wrong specs. Get it redone. Alignment done right is epic. Done wrong is potentially dangerous.
