I had a blowout (pothole) about a month ago and made the mistake of calling BMW roadside. They tow it to local Seattle WA BMW dealer. $335 later the "fix" it meaning replace the tire.
The dealer I bought it from used said they were send me a check (nice gesture). But yea if I would have got it to a Discount tire store it would have been $100 less expensive.

I thought the OP's tire might be repairable until i noticed the tip of the nail poking back through the tire by the rim! That's definitely not repairable, and how does that happen!

It was a long nail !!! 3 inch framing nail maybe. I've never seen anything like it. The new tire is mounted on that rim and sitting in my trunk now, I'm going to take a good look this weekend to see how dinged that wheel got. Oh well, I love this car so much I don't even care. M235 is a drug !
