i thought they would have made an adapter by now. so stg2 would be out of the question if ur leasing the car.

Or if you like to live dangerously. Which I do.

I found this youtube video demonstrating posi-lock wire tapping which doesn't cut the wire it just puts a pinhole into the wire so when you remove it, it's nearly undetectable. Makes me feel much better about adding a tune.

I sent a feeler out to my local tuner to see if he had any information yet. He said it's too new right now to offer me anything but added, "I will probably have a solution from Evolve shortly. That would generally be significantly less costly than a Dinan tune".

Might just sit back and wait until the smoke clears and some tunes get ran thru the ringer before I get mine done. I do expect Dinan to have one ready by Fall this year.

Yup we've already sold a few units for the M235

I know I ordered mine + M Performance exhaust from the dealer, once I have them put that on then I'll put the JB4 on.

What accessory code/part number did you use to get it added? Is this for a port installation?

Be sure to create a new thread with the results once you get it installed and properly tuned. I'm really interested to see how the numbers compare to the Dinan Stg 2 once it gets announced. Would love to save over $1000 by going JB4, but it's tough to pass on the Dinan warranty given I have a lease car.

I'm hoping to find a good BMW tuner in AZ for this purpose and I will, I also got a great price from my dealer

I will post, this will not be port installed. To the above referenced poster.

edit: Below is the part numbers 1 main system and 2 tips in chrome. I have e-mailed Dinan 3 times just for some basic info on an ETA for a Stage 2 or any part information, and they have given me zero response.

That is a sweet deal on the exhaust. Looking forward to some YouTube sound videos once you have it installed.

Love this. Wonder what size we would need?

How do you get into the steering wheel controls, with the new steering wheel?

Have a manual, so my shifter can't light up.

I think I may be pulling the trigger on one fairly soon. I just want to test drive a 6spd and can't find one in the state of Florida.
In the same boat, I might trade in my 335i as a downpayment for a lease though.

Just finished jb4, install... Have the software up and running. Anyone know how to change other items, besides just the mapping?

Shift lights; CAN adjustment?
