I'm not a big fan of frozen paint jobs, especially in black. They remind me of the old days when guys put primer on their cars and didn't finish.

In a couple of years the fad will be over and these expensive frozen paint jobs will likely look dated.

I don't think I could maintain a frozen. Wouldn't get it on a car that I was actually going to drive anywhere but a car show

Looks like a matte finish.

White would have been my preference, but it's done well by the looks of your photo.

Personal Frozen color experience

Frozen color is easy to maintain with, just wash it without polishing or take extra care on the paint.

I have my E90 and F80 both Frozen silver.

Anyway, everybody has their own thoughts.

Just share with you.

bmw's frozen paint look fantastic this is coming from someone who doesn't really like matte paint. Don't let these silly wraps that people put on their car fool you though.

Everybody has their own preference but picture talks!

As title, there were many people from Welt were taking pictures and going to order the special frozen paint with their F80 once they saw that special finished.

This looks great - I'd do frozen silver or blue ... red, white, black just don't look right to me.

That car is wrapped and not OEM frozen black. I have frozen black and IMO is amazing. It is actually metallic black and the easiest paint to maintain. No scratches or swirls. I did end up getting the entire front and doors wrapped in XPEL stealth and may do the rear to match the different contrast from the XPEL.

I love the frozen paints! Really starting to wish I did frozen silverstone or austin yellow.. BSM is cool being all blacked out and what not but sometimes I feel it's too damn incognito!
