These are the latest numbers I got from my local dealership:
MSRP: $44600.00 Discount: $3050.00 (~6.84%) Selling Price: $41550.00 Cap Reduction: $3272.00 Months: 39 Mileage: 10,000 per year Money Factor: 0.001300 Residual: 60% Residual Amount: $26,760 Payment: $418.63 Payment W Tax: $447.94 (7%) Due At Delivery: $4165.98 Due At Delivery Breakdown 1st Payment: $447.94 Security Deposit: $0.00 Tag Deposit : $150.00 Fl Lease Surcharge: $67.00 Tax Cap Reduction: $229.04 On one hand, my spreadsheet matches RIDEWITHG's exactly. (RWG's doesn't factor in a Cap Reduction, which my quote was including $3272 in Cap Reduction) which mean's this is pretty damn high. No? ($468/mo with $0 down VERSUS $418/mo with $3272 down) On the other hand, I look at the BMWUSA lease deal for this. My car is $2150 less, all other numbers are the same and my payment is $32 less per month than the special. Which makes me think this is a pretty good deal. Opinions? (MSD recommendation aside.) Thanks. Last edited by dan84; 11-06-2014 at 09:39 PM.. |

I see you didn't put the fee's into the Fees Rolled In (which is usually 750-1500)
Not sure if that will change you calculations since I haven't dove into your specifications yet with math, but I'd say your deal is good. Just under 7% discount on MSRP is good. And not inflating the MF at all for you is great and shows the dealer isn't trying funny business. If you enjoy the car for that deal, I'd say take it. Also, I think the deal is cheaper because the MSRP is the same, however, they are giving you a discount at the dealer where Audi's website doesn't factor in a discount. |

Hey guys. The sale price on my 228i x-drive was $41,725 (MSRP $43,825). My term is for 36k miles/36 months with full MSDs...and my payment with tax is 585? What am I doing wrong here? Is it my crappy credit? I'm going to talk to my CA soon, any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Can we get ALL the numbers associated with this lease? It's much easier to pinpoint the problem when we have all of the facts laid out, rather than speculating. Ask for the full deal in black and white, asking for specifics:
MSRP, Capitalized Cost, Money Factor, Residual Value, Rent Charge, Monthly Payment and Payment after Tax. We already have some of those, but if you ask specifically for all those numbers, it'll make sure that the CA doesn't just throw you back a worksheet that doesn't help us help you. If you can't input all the numbers into a lease calculator, then you need more info. At bare minimum: http://www.bankrate.com/calculators/...alculator.aspx |

Yes, I ordered my car on August so I was able to use that through November. I took November for the lower residual in case I decide to buy the car or sell it if there's equity (unlikely with BMW). The difference between October and November was about $10, even though my car is close to $50k compared to BMW's $46k, so I still think BMW's monthly payment change from month to month is BS. |
