My 228xi was a week 39 production (week of September 23) and it is still waiting at the port. I'm hoping it will be on the Aniara leaving October 19, arriving at Port Hueneme November 12, just in time for my Donner Pass/Tahoe winter driving.

I can verify the DON JUAN (wallenius) is en route to Sweden atm and will be arriving in Charleston (with my m235i) on 11/04/14. Not too shabby considering i dropped it off on 10/6/14.

I just did some more research and since BMW NA isn't tracking my car anymore I have a possible 5-6 vessels it could be on right now. If my car was processed fairly quick after payment. It could be here anytime between yesterday and mid next week. If not it wont be here till November.

Your CA should have all the info including ship name time of departure and arrival date with port of arrival. My CA emailed me the info he recieved

You would need to read previous information on my specific order process because it is a little different.

It all depends. It depends on how many cars on getting on the ship and what not. It's not unlikely that cars wait for at least a week. The 800# is behind somewhat and so is the website if you speak to a representative they might be able to give you more details as they have more info and maybe your car is already on a ship.

Still got my hopes up for the Resolve. If so this would be very lucky because some of the earlier boats to leave Germany were going to take more time.

All suspected boats that my vehicle could be on have docked and all but two have unloaded and moved on. There were 5 boats within a 36 hours window. Fingers crossed for a phone call soon.

Based on the delay I timed the ship to be Don Juan with an estimated arrival day at Brunswick GA of November 4. Called today to double check the ship and it happens to be on the Oregon Highway with an ETA of October 29. I've been following the wrong ship for the past few days but I'll have the car a couple days sooner. Cant wait, but I'm sad to let my GTI go.

HA! Well I guess it's kinda good that you were following the wrong ship for a few days and the one your car is actually on is here sooner than later. It's good when that happens.

I know it's hard to let go of the cars we love but I'm telling you it's gonna be worth it and you're going to love your new car so much

This is my car's last night on the ship, got a glimpse while on her way up the Chesapeake yesterday, the little webcam shot of the ship will do for now. Can't wait.

Holy Sh*t Batman! Mine just got on a boat on monday...100% confirmed.....Took 3 days shy of a full month Too bad I won't be home till January to look at it while it sits in the drive way for the rest of winter.

At least I am in Germany right now with a BMW rental however it is only a 116i but I like it. I am starting to learn the new little things about the car. This one only has sport mode not sport+ but holy crap you hit the pedal in sport mode and it just takes off. I find myself using comfort for cruising along and sport mode for moderately dense traffic to get the needed acceleration at a moments notice. The auto start/stop feature is getting extremely annoying though.

Just sold my '12 328i Sport today, so I'm in a dinky Kia Rio rental until my car comes in. Based on the VPC date of 11/6 (Port Hueneme), I believe my car is on the Meteor - which just left the Panama canal yesterday. So < ~2 weeks to go hopefully!

I brought my car home today!! My sales guy actually sent someone over to my house and picked me up Will post some pics in the photo thread tomorrow after work :-) Lovin' it so far!!

Nice! Congrats! I have not heard anything about my car yet except from the Dealer my car is being delivered. Just waiting on BMWNA Military Sales rep to call or email me the documents so that I can mail them off to get my vehicle registered.

Thanks! Yeah just hang in there!! My Sales guy called yesterday and was like, "how's that Kia Rio rental treating ya?" and I was like "..crappy". And he replied, "well i think we may have a remedy for that - your car showed up last night" lol.

Alas it's raining today, so I need to drive carefully to work. CA drivers (folks on here excluded probably) suck the moment there's any kind of inclement weather.

I am hanging in the best I can.....There is a twist though. I am in Germany for the next 10 weeks. Upsides are.... good beer! Get to drive a BMW rental the whole time! The Welt is about 1.5hr drive! Down side no M235i till January

The wait and anxiety is literally killing me! Car should be at the dealer this week! Waiting on a picture from the dealer....This means I will be sitting here refreshing my email constantly for the 1-4 days.
