Electric Fan Control: linebreak
Hey there everyone, was hoping someone had experience with this to point me in the right direction.
So usually I only get an "air mass, plausibility" tuner code that clears quickly about once a month with my JB4 using the intake I installed. Sometimes it's accompanied by "MAF, air mass too high" which I understand isn't really a concern, just means the sensor was reading a lot of air coming in (due to aftermarket air intake) but since my Air/Fuel ratio isn't be affected due to the tune, we're good. Aaanyway, I just got this error the other day when I passed someone on the highway: 1A2004 electric fan control: linebreak I've googled and forum searched for this for about an hour now and just can't find anything on it. Thoughts? |

I used to get weird errors with my JB4 and figured out it was the wires crossing over the engine making contact with rails and other components. I insulated the wires and wrapped them and that seemed to do the trick.

Ah, I'd heard of that one before and made sure my wires were tucked away in unstressed positions (not rubbing against a metal ridge or anything). I'll double check that but this one error just seemed specific.
