M2 Engine Spec's or differences between M3/4?

Has any information surfaced providing information on the M2 engine spec or how it differs from the M4 (apart from power output)?

Some components of the S55 integrated on a tuned N55 unit.

Wrong question to ask.

How about, "Has any information surfaced providing information on the M2 engine spec or how it differs from the regular N55"

Artemis, I keep seeing this quote. I would like to know what components we're talking about. What is the source?

OK... I'm new to BMW. I'm looking at options at the moment and a keen modifier. The M4 ticks quite a few boxes but I like 2 series dimensions.
S55 & N55 means nothing to me but Google is my friend, so i'm going to go ask him now :-)

Well that's encouraging! Even just the S55 oil pump and baffle is more than I expected

Garage List
My SA had a meeting with some M guys from the Homeland a few weeks ago, told me the cooling system is going to be "racing" cooling, and that the oiling system was kinda half and half. BMW has been really good so far with the F8x to make sure the engine doesn't over heat. I suspect there's a bit of truth with what my SA told me.
