Really? If you squint and blur out the hard edges that would get worked over with proper body work, it doesn't look half bad. With all the seams, it's horrible though.

yeah 800... 300 for the springs and then theres labor. the common person is not going to install the springs themselves. and you also need an alignment.

The body kit looks mostly nonfunctional and the fact that there is no mention of matching shocks for the springs tells me this is mostly about looks and not actual performance. Remember M cars are as much about the chassis as the engine, if not more.

Going back to the title of this thread.
Q: "Who needs an M2 ?!"
A: "No-one needs an M2, except for probably BMW, for its image and line-up consistency. Better ask «Who wants an M2 ?»"

I hear you... I only mentioned springs because thats the cheapest route and from the pics the car is sitting kind of high. The point I was trying to make was to make this car come close to the m2 in looks you would have to at least drop it. I have Dinan S1 (badged) so I know how expensive mods can be for this car. I spent 2k on a muffler.

take off the wing, mold the kit, get some spacers, drop it a bit more and you got one nice lookin M235i that might reach or pass M2 numbers. if there was no M2, i'd go this route

Of course taste differs. And that is good. Otherwise the world would be one boring place to live in. What we were trying to achieve here is a bolt-on look as with (DTM) race cars from the old days. Of course it can be proprely blended if someone whishes to do so.

I think IND has a seamless kit for those preferring a cleaner look.

This wouldn't look bad from 2-3 miles away.
