Trunk Storage Well

Anybody take out the bucket (for lack of a better term) behind the back right tire and keep it out? There's a little more room with just the opening than the bucket allows, not necessarily enough to make worth while. Or any cool mods, like a mini fridge?

I did that once, gasped at the foam, and then put the bucket back.

With the insulation, perhaps a spare Kidney for those "special" road trips?

With the vent holes, it looks like it could be outfitted for the 'Richard Gere Special Edition Gerbil Zone' (or are those just casting marks on the plastic...hate to ruin a good Gerbil joke).

Netting?

I don't have anything good for the bin, but is there an easy way to remove / reinstall the netting across the opening? It would make it easier to get my golf clubs in the trunk!

I put the bottom of my bag on the left side and then only my driver really hangs over the net, without stretching it too much

Same here; it won't fit the other way.

My fiancé's clubs will go bottom left to top right corner. The advantage to being a foot shorter than me, I suppose! Not worth the fight/chance of damage to make my clubs do the same

Yes actually, I put a water methanol kit in there after I removed the plastic piece.
