aFe vs BMS intake
Hey guys
I am planning on getting an intake for my 235i and I've narrowed it down to the aFe Stage 2 Intake ($400) or the BMS Intake ($279). There is also an aFe Stage 2 SI ($500) The aFe seems to be more expensive over the BMS intake and from the sound clips I've heard, I like the sound of the aFe more but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra $$$. It appears both intakes yield the same performance gains. Can anyone with either BMS or aFe intake comment if they have done any research prior to buying their intake and what was the deciding factor for buying the intake you did. Thanks alot! |

Both intakes should sound the same and provide similar gains. I only got the aFe because it comes with a heatshield, but if you don't really care then the BMS one is the way to go.
I personally do not think the aFe SI version is worth it though. Last edited by JustinCredibleM; 06-10-2014 at 09:48 PM.. |
