split screen display info. ?

I'm trying to find out how to change the right hand split screen to something other than Nav. map. I ran across pictures of another M235i for sale showing the
split screen with the time in larger numbers and the weather below.

When the split screen is up, click right on the controller and select "split screen content".

I think the time/weather option is under the connected apps section.

It's pretty easy once you get the hang of it but it took me some experimentation too. I didn't have time to spend with the "Genius" when I bought my car so it took a few weeks to figure most of it out. As I recall, click the controller to the right to get to the Split Screen option and then click it the right again to get the list of items you want to show in the right side of the screen. The weather and time are one of those options. Play around with it and you'll find it.

On any page just press the option button select the split screen tick box. After having the screen split in 2; move the idrive controller to the right, then select split screen content. You will be presented with variety of options depending on your location and equipment. For example you can have the option to see the position of the Qibla relative to your location. What you are asking for the weather and time is called Online Widgets, but to have this option you need the Connecteddrive equipment installed and purchased the Online Services package from either the website or in car. I had my screen setup this way (entertainment on the right, temp/weather on the left) and it seems to of just stopped working. I go into the widgets and it still shows as selected.
There was an update within the last few days and I wondered if maybe that knocked the widgets out?

Anyway can anyone let me know if it still working for them?
