M Performance Exhaust + VRSF 4" DP (with video)
Hey all,
Just had the VRSF cat-less DP installed along with the rest of my FBO VRSF parts bin and wanted to share a quick video clip of how it sounds post install. Was taken with a mic so sounds came out pretty clear compared what else is out there. Rev'd only to 5500rpm and it sounds absolutely incredible. Very happy customer here! More to come, D

Thanks fellas, I knew based on what was out there (video wise) that it would come out great. This is how the MPE exhaust should sound! It's a night and day difference between having the OEM DP vs the cat-less one. Sounds exactly how I wanted.
Thanks buddy, the mods installed at the time of recording were - Stock intake plumbing with AFE drop in, VRSF DP, VRSF Race FMIC, and VRSF Charge pipe. I'm really trying to hold off on an intake. Would like to get a baseline dyno done in May with what I have. Then another one after I install my Pure Turbo inlet mod, and then an intake system. This way I can see if those two mods combined were really worth the $4-700 bucks. D

Oh, my fault.. I forgot about the obligatory JB4 w/Bluetooth
Because of the always changing elevation and air quality here, I plan to run the "auto tuning" map 5. I'm not worried about making top peak hp, more so consistent power that I can have, whenever/wherever I go. It gets stinkin' hot here, and the elevation combined makes for some severe timing pull on turbo cars. Most local tuners all have meth as a first mod, including all of the diesel trucks which make up over half of the auto enthusiasts, here.. I like the thought of having meth as a precautionary, but if the car isn't pulling timing, I don't see the need besides top line power.. Next wave of mods for the car are strictly suspension/brake related. This will be my 'spring 2018 project and wrap up the bulk of mods I pan on doing to this car. I plan on a 5-10 year ownership and since it'll be paid off by the end of this year, I can finally relax and enjoy the scene that I left behind many moons ago when work/school became my life

Car has the MPE which is straight through up to the cat section AFAIK (which is now cat-less), maybe one resonator in there? It's the same diameter as the cat-back, though. Not sure if it's an OEM or a part of the MPE system?
