235i door tweeters

Hi
I got a very good deal 5months ago on a 2016 235i with prenium package....
The only thing is rhat the soind system is bad...i feel like i need the door tweeters...
Here are my 4 questions
1- is it possible to install custom made door panel in triangle yo fir the door speakers?
2- is it easy to install....is the wires already passed there?
3- do you know where i can buy it?
4- will i void the warranty?

You have just the base hifi system not HK?

First, do these things:
1). Delete this thread, if possible.
2). Please search this subforum first for your answers. There is a wealth of information on your questions in there.
3). Re-post any remaining questions in that same subforum, which is dedicated to audio, infotainment, navigation, and iDrive questions and discussions.

OP, it really is in that looooong Dr. Strangelove thread, but there is a cheat sheet at the beginning that covers most of the basics.

As for being a search nazi: No, I'm a use-a-forum-properly nazi. Forums exist for two reasons: fellowship among people with something in common, and as a resource for that something in common. It's really that simple.

So wouldn't it follow that participants behave as fellows, and use those resources first before bringing up a question? Put another way: Would you barge into a business meeting and blurt out a bunch of questions about stuff that's really easy to get answers for yourself? Or would you prepare and get those questions first so you don't look like a fool?

Fact is, the OP lied, is lazy, doesn't care to be a contributor, and has contempt for those who have a problem with him -- so much so that he'll fib to cover his backside.

yeah, Mike is always a bit aggressive with his "hey do a search" chastising. He could have provided a link in less time, but that's Mike and just like your "bad post" it's okay.

that said, if you do a search on "sails" in the audio subforum you'll eventually find the part numbers for the OEM sails. No custom fabrication needed.

You'll then want a new set of front door speakers, not just tweeters. Voice matching yada yada and things that Mike is very good at pontificating upon. Read that Strangelove thread to see that the Etons sourced from an online store in Germany or something are the speakers of the forum.

Lastly, no warranty worth worrying about will be voided.
