Road trip
just returned from first long road trip with the 235. Great roads and curves and beautiful fall colors in central Virginia and the Blue ridge Mountains. The car did great but my two Corgis did not fair well in the back seat with all the curves.

The best road was from Altivista to Bedford #43 I think and there was also the Virginia By way that dumps out just south of Altivista from Bedford.

HaHa, we do lots of BMW trips and I think they are getting used to it. I had a different seat cover this time and they slid back and forth. Another nice thing about this trip is I got gas in Bedford for 309$

Awesome. I took the 228i upstate this weekend for a nice long road trip to break her in. She did amazing. Open roads, able to really push her hard in sport and sport + mode and the twists and turns of the road really showed how the car can handle things. It was a gorgeous day so going with the sunroof open and then having to blast the heated seats and heat going home at night was also a plus. Car did amazing on all the roads even the dirt roads. I was very pleased with it. And the best part of all of it, I only used half a tank a gas from LI to upstate NY with both sport modes and really pushing the gas. That was just an extra bonus.

I spent most of the day on Sunday on the Parkway. Went up Rt 80 (Devil's Whip) near Morganton, and then took the Parkway south. I stopped in Asheville for a bite to eat and then continued heading south for a bit before circling back north and heading home.
I had my camera with me, but was enjoying driving so much I didn't really spend much time taking pictures. I tried to get some videos/sound clips in the tunnels with my phone, but they didn't turn out as well as hoped.
