And I have to say - that is one sexy beast! I wish we could ride that low in the US, but our highways are not the autobahn. After living in Germany for four years, it is one of many things I miss! |

I just put my new rear muffler on, a lightweight titanium exhaust system.
holy cow, never thought a muffler could do this well on our cars. I`ll put some videos on here asap. But for those who can`t wait, I just posted a small video on instagram (@anoooooh). there you can get an idea of how loud that exhaust is! And I got a new goodie from manhart, which I`ll install this weekend, plus a larger intercooler.

So here are the small videos:
First start after mounting the new exhaust system: I was pretty surprised as you may hear btw http://websta.me/p/840689071732026712_350657298 http://websta.me/p/842080797348588983_350657298 http://websta.me/p/841353796472008217_350657298 Next wednesday I`ll visit lightweight performance and get some new titanium tips, since I don`t like the satin black tips which are installed.

Since I get so many pn`s asking about the paddles, IŽll post what can be done on here.
So you have the following options: m3/m4 paddles m5/m6 paddles Both look exactly the same! Here is a picture: But technically there is a difference. While the m3/m4 paddles fit plug and play on our cars, you need to do a small modification on the m5/m6 paddles. If you do not do this modification to your m5/m6 paddles, the right paddle will not work and the left paddle will change gears up not down. So why should you still get m5/m6 paddles instead of m3/m4 paddles? The modification takes less than 5 minutes and you can get m5/m6 paddles more easily and cheaper on ebay. Both sets are very expensive when you get them new at your bmw dealer. So what do you need to do to make m5/m6 paddles paddles work properly? I found a picture on the internet which shows all summed up together: You need to switch the inner part out of the housing and put the electronics from your stock paddles into the housing of your m5/m6 paddles. You can do this easily with a small screwdriver by pushing them to the thicker side and make them pop out. That`s all. As for the installation of the paddles you need to get your airbag out. there are a lot of diy instructions for the steering wheel removal on the internet. so this shouldn`t be a problem. Of course you could get the whole steering wheel out but I just removed the airbag and switched the the paddles.

1" inch drop right? What are the wheel specs. I'm a huge fan on black with polished lip.

Wheels are 8x18 ET 40. I didn`t want them wider for winter. You can get a 9x18 ET 40 too. Same sizes in 19". The polished lips are actual rings, which you can stick on. When you curb a wheel, you can get another ring and change them easily while the tires are mounted.
