Trunk Button Doesn't Open When Pressed?

Anyone else's trunk doesn't open when the doors are locked and button is pressed and held on the actual trunk?

Key is in pocket. My brother's F30 opens.. So weird

I have to hold it several seconds. Usually about the time I'm thinking "is it going to open or not?" I hear it pop. Doors locked, key in purse.

There is a switch in the glove compartment to lock the trunk

Lock is set to unlock. Still doesn't work.

The car makes some noises when I press the button though

I had this exact issue on my 135, and almost always when my hands were full or it was raining. And like the post above, I hear the car making a noise (almost like its "waking up"). Usually had to press and release the button 3-4 times to finally get it to work.

Brought it in twice and the dealer could never reproduce it. Hoping it doesn't happen on my 235 (I'll know tomorrow).

Already did. It only has the tailgate option from the key.. Not the actual button.
