CA allocation for M240i

Hello guys,

I am a former M3 and M4 owner and don't feel the M2 lease rates are worth the car right now. So I decided to really look into getting a M240i. My CA states that they don't have any allocation for M240i at their dealership so I was wondering if any of you guys know of a dealership getting a allocation or has one for the M240i so I can order it from them from the factory.

Also, being new to the 2 series ordering, how hard was it to negotiate a good deal on this car. When I got the M4 back in the days, I was able to negotiate about 2.5k off the car and did ED back when it was out only 3 months. Thinking of doing a ED for the M240i but wouldn't mind not doing ED if the car can be had earlier.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Email dealers all over so cal. I would email at least 6-8 and see which ones can get you as close to invoice as possible. Usually dealers will give you a slightly better deal if you buy the car outside of their typical customer region.

Last summer I was able to order my 340i and got it $500 over invoice because I went to a dealer 30 miles away instead of the closer ones. My car was their first allocation.

If you put in the effort you will be rewarded
