How much off a 2016 M235i right now?

What would be a good discount on a 235i that has been sitting on a lot for about 6 months now? Should there be big discounts to be had since the M240 is out in a few months?

Cool

I'm not sure as of yet...but negotiation will get you there. I'm in the process of grabbing a left over 2016. Waiting for the time to jump on it. Some cars are already advertised on cars.com with pricing below MSRP. The one I want is not yet discounted...but the july offer is 0.9% apr on 72 months financing. Very attractive. Just need to sell my 1988 325i first - on my end that is ultimately what is holding me up. Hopefully within a month so I can start my negotiations.

Also: The programs change from month to month on DAP inventory as well. Keep tabs on some cars you like weekly. I've been checking out the ones I want daily.
The 0.9% APR program at the dealership I plan on using has this offer going until 8-31-16.

You can get them for 10% off MSRP on average. 12% if you find a really good deal and most deals offer 8%.

I was offered $4400 off MSRP (about 8.6% off) and $2k in rebates. Do you think that's fair? Also how is a rebate different from a discount off MSRP in terms of how your lease price is determined?

It was a very highly optioned convertible. They couldn't sell it or even lease it. My guess is because the msrp was so high. They put it online with a 10k discount and no takers. So they sent an email out saying they would drop it by 21k to move it because it sat on their lot since January 2015. With the 240s coming in they wanted every 15 gone.

We just got 12% off MSRP on an almost fully loaded 2016 M235i at 1.9% financing. This is in Vancouver Canada.

If the fully loaded car was about 53k then that's 46.6k. Not a bad deal, but I still think I'd rather have a less-optioned 240.
