Broken Rear Spring

My 2020 M2C failed its MOT this week due to a broken spring at the rear. Thankfully, it was purchased as an AUC, so the warranty has been useful to get this fixed without putting my hand in my pocket. The point of my post is to urge you to check your springs, as I had no idea it was broken. The car was not sagging, there were no strange clunks or knocks, and it handled normally. It has covered <12k miles and there's no sign of corrosion, the wheels are not buckled etc, so it could have been a flaw in the metal...who knows
