In order of priority:

4 doors in GC trim@ less than M3 sedan price

M Lsd diff

M-DCT maybe (loving the fun factor of paddle shifters with the 135is--not loving that hesitation juke step from a stop though) Drove the 135i 6mt this weekend and it felt so much more 'involved.' Also drove the Evo and it felt VERY INVOLVED.

HUD if available

Carbon F roof

I'm pretty flexible on the amenities but for me to trade my 135i it will have to have:

- MT
- LSD
- forged internals
- modability to at least 450whp with FBOs and meth
- a sub-3400lb curb weight

I'm pretty confident about the first two and I hope BMW sees fit not to cheap-out on the third. The car should be tunable to at least what the N54 is w/o resorting to a bigger turbo, but that depends on how hard BMW chooses to work whatever turbo they use and how much headroom it has left. Regardless, it will take some time after launch to see what they can get out of it, but I'm in no hurry. Finally, they really have to cut the lard.

M4 suspension/brakes
lightweight wheels (M4 wheels are a couple lbs lighter per than the e92 comp wheels so that will do)
Must have carbon fiber roof
weight no more than 1M
manual bespoke seats

I hope they use the extra development time to improve on the 1M awesomeness and not for fluff like comfort settings, leather dash and home theater systems. That is what the 550i is for.

Why is everyone putting down LSD as a spec? Of course it's going to come with that....it's an M2. That's like saying "I want my M2 to come with wheels." LOL! Just giving some of you a hard time...

They are all thin like that now. About 1/3 less glass I swear it's that's much thinner.
