MPE without tailpipes
Hi guys,
Do somebody have a M235i with MPE but without any tailpipes ? I yes, can you post some pics please ? I just bought a used MPE without the clamp and without the tailpipes. For the clamp, I found a clamp raggazone 83mm I will test with it. And for the tailpipes, I hesitate to let it as it is, IMO it will have a good look. Thanks |

Are you asking without any tips or are you asking about reusing the ones that came on the stock exhaust? I would think the pipes would be too short without the tips.

I'm asking without any tips. I saw on older threads that it is possible to reuse the black tips which come with the stock exhaust. This is what I will do if pipes are too short.
PS : sorry for the words used, I don't know if there is a difference between exhaust tips and tailpipes (I live in Switzerland) |

Quote:
Tailpipes = actual piping that comes out of the muffler Exhaust tips = Decorative covers for tailpipes Tailpipes don't need exhaust tips. However, exhaust tips need tailpipes.
