I have another random question.... The steering wheel gets Oil temp which is awesome because the JB4 app doesnt... but where does it get the info from - does it connect to the OBDII port? and if so, does it work with a JB4?

Thanks for posting the tech manuals too, very detailed. Hope you like it, it is one of their more interesting and useable tech bits, IMHO (even if it doesn't help you text or shop online ).

Correct. Oil & water temps can be displayed (either in C or F). As for connectivity, no it's not an OBDII connection. There's a significant amount of wiring that has to be done and I assume it's somehow connected directly to the ECU/DME. As for working with the JB4, don't see why not as they would be mutually exclusive.

EDIT: In terms of how the steering wheel connects to the vehicle, go back to my post (previous page). I included the installation PDF and perhaps that might answer your connectivity question.
