Do performance center delivery in South Carolina and drive it back from there. (This is what I'll be doing) ED + PCD

Edit: I see you are in Seattle so option 1 or 2 is probably best for you
Or courtesy delivery, shipped to a dealer near you.

Not sure what you're referring to by "that".

This may help:

European Delivery (ED): http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...y/default.aspx

Performance Center Delivery (PCD): http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...ehicledelivery

Neither costs you anything (except for the cost of transportation, lodging, meals, etc.). It adds nothing to the cost of your car and European Delivery may actually reduce the price of your car, depending on model selected.

I think he means the courtesy delivery....

I was told that is pretty much like having the car delivered to your house... so about $700 or so depending on where you are

ah courtesy delivery to a bmw dealer 'closest' to you, i forgot about that. however, isn't there the case where the dealer will chose to refuse to receive the car for you because they did not make the sale of it to you?
