I know you realized if you take the deposit back you ended the sales document so don't cash any checks they may send you and don't accept your deposit back.

What kind of miscalculation did the dealer make ?

As another poster stated if they made a mistake that is obviously an error that is so far below what any good deal would be, then you may want to reconsider.

lol true. Empirically speaking, letting manufacturers directly sell cars it is anti-repub. Interestingly though it is philosophically republican because it deregulates. Point being, politicians do not subscribe to philosophies; they subscribe to $$$$.

I don't want to name and shame yet, hoping they can be reasonable and resolve this with me having my car. 4 months of every night hitting up this forum and be told that you can't have your car when it's finally here is the worst.

I'm from Victoria. Calling customer service would probably be my next step if conversation with them fail.

So after some back and forth with my rep and the sales manager, they went on and discuss the matter with the general sales manager.
Long story short, the general sales manager approve the sale of the car at contract price and I'll be picking my car up in a couple of days.

Greats news, congrats on the great deal and sale. Now you can pick up your car and enjoy it (you would have anyway) post pics when you pick it up.

After delivery, be sure to let them know you will be buying your M2 in the future from another dealership from all the pain they caused you.

Great news! It's unfortunate you had to go through all of that, but at least it's over now

Be prepared for the extended warranty or dealer add-on pitch when you complete the paperwork.
I myself, would track down the General Sales Manager and thank him for his help - and I don't think I'd comment on future sales.
