Question Bilstein B16 (PSS10) Cleaning Suggestions?

I have a set of Bilstein B16 (PSS10) 48-207287 Coilovers removed from the 2015 328i xDrive lease I just turned in.
They've been on the car for 2 1/2 years and have quite a bit of grime and grunge. [NYC Area] I'd like to get them cleaned up and then sell them.
Any suggestions on how best to clean them up?
Thx,
Jim

If they are powder coated or anodized vs painted, brake cleaner with a tooth brush should work well, but I would try a spot of brake cleaner on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn’t damage the finish. Solvents such as brake cleaner will also damage stickers, so avoid contact if you want them to stay in place.

Maybe with a scrubbing pad and some pre de-greaser/brake clean on the heavy stuff, if any..

If you're worried about damaging anything I think you're fine, just as mentioned, be mindful of harsh chemicals on non coated metals, it could discolour finish and ruin labels (brake clean, namely).
