Smile M240i LCI with MPPK exhaust

Hi,

I have a M240i LCI from January 2018.
I ask to install the back box MPE with carton finish, but i think the sound is not good.

Before this car, i have already an M135i with backbox MPE too and i found the sound very good for my part...

So i want to install the MPPK exhaust line on my F22, i think it was the best choice to keep guarantee !

I think the MPE on the M240i is a nice subtle upgrade. It doesn't really change the fundamental tone, just bumps the volume a little and adds a little more burble. This is a B58 engine so it's not gonna sound the same as your old N54/N55. A lot of guys love the resonator delete, maybe look into that for a little more hair on the MPE?

Yes, b58 sound like asmatic oyster... When i try 440i F36 with MPPk i really love the sound !!!
I want the same. It's a little less than an M3/M4.

It should be possible. Guy in Austria did it to his M235i (it's on Youtube).
I got the exhaust quoted for about 1500€ without VAT (21%). Quite expensive for just a muffler :-/.

I found some use case by the man who tested it on his M235i,
he said ; there are problems with the valves and his car ECU.

His ECU dont manage the MPPK valves properly...

I think of AKRA now...

Well in the MPPSK kit, BMW offers a special valve connectors which should manage this problem. It's in a "Y" shape so the lower end goes to the factory connector a the "V" goes to the muffler on both sides

I am thinking of installing a MPE. Is it appreciatively louder inside when driving with the window up. Would I be able to hear the burble with the window up?

Thanks

Yes, with the windows up you'll notice the bump in both volume a burble although it is subtle.

Nobody yet here with the mppk kit and vrsf 300 cell downpipe? That will probably give the car a nice deep sound?
