Any issues with my log? Not sure what to look for.

only thing is that your actual boost is about .5 to 1 psi lower than your target psi throughout the rev range. don't know what that means, since your throttle is pretty steady too, so car is not trying to compensate. other than that, your timing looks real clean, i wish mine looked like that.

what's your car mods?
spark plugs and life?
coil life?
fuel?
My old jb4 logs were also similar with the boost just shy of the target. Are yours always on target?
Mods:
Dinan muffler
Wagner catless downpipe
Er intercooler
Afe drop in
I have m4 plugs that have about 1k on them and I use Sunoco 93. Coils are original I have about 22k on the car.
I have a injen intake that never really agreed with the car. I wonder if it would be different with a tune?

I guess I'm not actually THAT much closer to target .

Your definitely right there or over the target for most of the rpm range until you get close to end of the rev range. I'm never on target. I wonder if I have a small boost leak? What are your mods?

If you can recreate the hesitation you should log it and post it.

.020 should be fine for the stage 1 or 2 maps.

Your timing is not good at all. Looks like you don't have enough octane. Run the stage 1 map and log.

I believe my issues are mostly cleared up. The re-flash with most recent version of the tunes fixed the timing issues / ugliness at 5K RPM.

CEL went away after the next track day although we drove in the snow, so obviously not pushing hard. I've had it WOT in some spirited road driving but have not yet been back to the track yet.

Turning the cold start feature back on fixed cold starts. Go figure.

Have not swapped plugs yet but will look into it.

Your timing is not good at all. Looks like you don't have enough octane. Run the stage 1 map and log.
Mobil 93, then shell 93 which was better, now shell 93 with a bottle of octane booster. I spoke too soon about no issues. Slight timing pull still. I switched to stage 2 with 91 octane and looks better

Stage 2 93 octane map, using shell 93 with octane booster. New plugs .022 gap

Is there an easy way to interpret the log readings? I finally got my intercooler and charge pipe on and will be throwing the tune on my car soon. I'm pretty new to the tuning and don't want to mess anything up, but was shooting for stage 2 93.

Has anyone had recurring issues when trying to initially load the software? I keep receiving a vehicle not detected message and VIN not detected yet for broadcast, waiting...

I have tried everything I can that is listed for troubleshooting. Been playing tag with a person from BM3 to remote in and assist, but starting to grow impatient.

is it the vehicle not detected, or the VIN not detected? for the VIN not detected, i had luck by disconnecting the ground from battery in trunk for a few seconds, then reattaching.

since this is the first time flashing for you, it could very well be an issue on BM3 side since they need to add your VIN to the database to allow use of the software. i agree that a web-based approach to software is wearing my patience as well.

It displays vehicle not detected at first, then proceeds to give the wait 30-60 seconds to allow for the agent to register, then states that VIN is not detected. I tried removing the battery cable various times and verified with BM3 that my VIN is in the system so unsure of where to go. When on the web interface and go to add/activate vehicle, the message on top displays no OBD Agent detected too. My ethernet adapter shows a link light when connected to my surface pro, so I honestly don't know.

is your surface connected to the internet? firewall settings disabled? good luck, maybe you even have a faulty cable.

So after trying to figure out what the issue was, my ethernet was set to static IP addressing and was changed to automatically as well as DHCP. That immediately fixed the issue and now enjoying the tune .

BM3 was still very attentive to my concerns and addressed the issue quickly.

Finally FBO with 0.22 gapped n20 plugs. These logs don't look very good with the car pulling timing at 3000rpm. I think it's fuel, the gas says 94 octane but I'm doubtful of the quality. This is stage 2 93 octane. Going to try some different gas and log again. Changed to the 91 octane tune after running these last night. My coils have 65k on them, I don't think they're the problem. Anyone have thoughts?

That log is of no use. Log in at least 3rd gear (the higher the better). Go wide open throttle from 2500rpm to redline and then through as many gears as possible.

The first section is exactly that, 3rd gear pull. If you slide the time bars inward at the bottom you can pull out the exact section. I'm also 6 speed, so I don't want to hit 200km/h logging into 4th.

Here's another one, you'd have to close the bars to omit the first few mins. Wish we could cut the useless stuff off.

No it isn't. You went from 3k-5900k in the first log and this second log. What I can see in the log shows you don't have enough octane. Go to Stage 2 91oct map. Log again in a safe area where you can at least go to redline.

You can cut the useless stuff off by only logging right before you go WOT and then turning it off after WOT. Or just look at the small graph with the time scale bars; the blue line shows pedal % (WOT) which will then tell you where to adjust the time scale bars

New log, not sure why it knocked at 3,100 rpm when I just started to floor it.
