If so, then I'm good to go. I have a PS4 coming on launch day, but am sad that more than one title I wanted to play got pushed out. Ah well, guess I'll have to go on a long driving excursion to pass the time!

The "free" version is essentially an extended demo--it is missing cars and tracks that come with the fully priced retail version. They are, however, discounting the digital version if you want to upgrade from your free version and don't want a disc.

is the full car list for forza 5 even confirmed yet? it still may be in there.
Driveclub was the main reason i WAS going to get a ps4. Then they delayed it so I preordered an xbox instead. Hope I can swing a ps4 next march when driveclub comes out now. |

Remind her it's cheaper than buying the actual car.

Forza 5 only has 200 cars and 12 tracks - about half the number of cars and tracks that Forza 4 had? Why? They put forzavista mode for every car. That, and they already announced DLC for 1 year, to be released each month for 8$. Not only that, but if you want all the cars, you have to get the launch VIP edition of forza which is $90

It's the details that matter and make up the whole package. And in this case, it's an eyesore. Really, how much $$$ can BMW save on slapping these generic mirror covers on their cars instead of painting them to match the car as they have done for generations? And is that little bit of savings worth the hit to brand perception? I guess in a reality of record profits, "little details" are thrown out the window. It's people like you that readily accept inferior quality, that BMW banks on. |

and as for me ill take the gray mirrors even though it is ugly and change them to carbon fiber or paint them black, no big deal to me. but i see your point to someone who isnt into changing things i could see why it could be an eye sore. i was just busting your balls

They may not be the most elegant but they must meet Euro standards for rear visibility - and I am glad BMW has not gone with smaller mirrors for NA. I am also considering the C7 Vette and Chevy decided to put smaller mirrors with no turn signals on the NA Vette since due to the laxity of regs here they could do so. Problem is the visibility - it's crap-poor with the tiny mirrors and quite unsafe.
