Lines are good in stock. We ship them by 2-3 day USPS service.

These, as other SS lines, shall do nothing for you on the road - they will however, combined with RBF, contribute towards a firmer and consistent pedal feel on track.

Just ordered them today. I got quoted by a shop in San Francisco 330$ to change the braking lines and upgrade the fluid to a high temperature ready. Thoughts?

Wow, that seems expensive. Most labor rates these days are in the range of $100-$130/hr, so that just seems like a lot to swap lines and bleed brakes. I would half that at the most.

Thanks. I called many shops and the price ranges from 300-400$. How much fluid should I buy to flush the entire system?

About a liter. YMMV.

Also, it should be about $250 to do the swap/bleed. $300-$400 is a little high. My mech only charged me $250 to do my challenge line swap/bleed.

This is a great mod, really improves the brake feel of this car. Wish I had done it sooner!

I couldn't find cheaper in the city! I have an appointment on Wednesday. Any recommendation for the break fluids? I need something that can endure a track day.

ATE Type 200, Motul RBF600, or Motul RBF660 would all work for you.

Got them installed today with high performance brake fluid.

I haven't had the time to give them a real try though. Will keep you posted!

I've never done any brake mods but have been wanting braided steel lines for a while. Could anyone tell me if there are any adverse affects to running something like RBF660 for daily use?

Brake fluid is hydroscopic meaning it takes on water easily. When you mix water with your brake fluid, it's a bad thing. RBF660 is a "race type fluid". It has a pretty high wet, and dry, boiling pointand also is more hydroscopic than "lesser" street grade brake fluids. There's no real reason to run RBF600/660 on a street car. If your car is driven on the street 99% of the time, I would recommend using something like ATE200.
