Can a 255 tire fit 18x8.5 +35 square?

I just ordered some enkei gtc01rr in 18x8.5 +35 all around. I'm wondering if I can fit a 255 tire in the front I'm planning to get either ps4s or extreme performance tires. I'm planning to daily this set up with some canyon and maybe a track day or two a year. Currently I have bilstein pss10 coilovers with dinan camber plates hopefully they're enough to make the tires fit.

No chance in the rear. Huge poke.

You mean the wheel it self? Or is the tire too wide?

Wheel with that offset. I run 18x8.5 ET 45 with a 255 tire in the rear.

Do you think a 245 would clear? Or would I have to drop down to 235?

An ET 35 wheel in the rear will not fit at 8.5 inches without significant poke and rub under compression.

When I asked VMR about wheels, they suggested 18x9.5 +45 rear when trying to run a 255 wheel.

My experience with a 255 tire was that it would not work at 38. I would assume 35 would be horrible. maybe if you have a significantly smaller tire it would fit.

i referred to this thread, the red m235 has 18x8.5 +35 all around on stock tires (225 front 245 rears) that looks pretty good to me! but i know it varies. i think the white ones have +38

I've been running 255/35-18 dunlop direzzas on 18x8.5 et38 for a year now road and track and have had zero issues. and the direzzas have a very square shoulder. but since I've bent one of the rims recently I'm gonna go wider actually.. looking between a 9" wheel and 9.5" for 255/35. I feel like putting 255s on a 8.5 wheel it feels a little disconnected

So on the front I'm running 18x8.5 et38 with 235/40-18. I have the M4 LCAs at R:-2.1deg
and L: -1.7deg. I haven't any issues from lock to lock or under load either.

I aslo put my rear 255s on the 8.5s up front because i was just testing sizes and it fit. I don't know how it would work under load or during turning. But in a static position it looked fine. I don't have any springs btw

I do not remember the rear camber numbers. Ill have to get my alignment sheet tomorrow and ill update you on that.

With your stiffer springs and camber plates i really think you'll be safe. I know anthony who is in the tracking section a lot is running 255s in the front with KW clubsports with camper plates and he's doing fine.

Anyway those rims look amazing. Update us with the final install
