Soft Metallic ringing sound at low speeds

My 2015 M235xi, when coasting (foot off accelerator) between 28-35MPH, there's a soft metallic ringing sound coming from the lower half of the car; possibly the wheels.

I recall this type of sound usually mean the bearings are worn and need to be replaced.

What are your thoughts? I bought this car as CPO purchase and have 1 full year of warranty. Sadly, I think bearings are not covered.

It could just be brake pads rubbing against disc,
I really don’t read about these cars having wheel bearings having early failures.

Unless you put car on lift and try to duplicate the noise.

But the fact it happens at a particular speed with foot of the gas - is your car manual transmission?

The car does have all new brakes.

It's 8AT with xDrive.

I wouldn't call myself a brake guru but, usually, the sounds related to brakes seem to be the high frequency squeaky sound rather than metallic ring. I don't know ... just thinking out loud.

If it’s the high frequency vibration when braking then yes a high pitch squeal

Yup, I agree.

For my case, it's pure coasting. Foot not touching accelerator or brakes but gears are engaged (Comfort Mode).

Got interrupted - high pitch braking noise is usually under braking but a metallic droning noise can be normal and from just the faintest contact of the brake pad to the disc while at a low coast.
But with x-drive it doesn’t seem unusual to get some drivetrain rotational hum - w/o listening in person we can only guess.

BMW center shop said this:
Quote:
Took pins from front calipers and cleaned with brake cleaner in case they were lubed previously.
I'm not hearing the ringing anymore.
