What's an appropriate rebate for a demo 228?
Looking at a demo 228 xdrive with all the options except leather.
Car has about 4500km on it. Asking price is $50K CAD + $2095 transport & prep + taxes. What would be a good deal / appropriate rebate for this car now that the 230 are starting to get to the showrooms? Dealer won't tell me anything over email, and will only discuss in person. Would like to have an idea of negociating room before I make the trip there. Thanks! |

At least a couple grand off for a demo, possibly more depending on condition. |

Demo the dealer would have gotten $ from BMW too probably $2k. So shoot for 10% off then the extra $2k as well.

A used previous model year 228xi should get you somewhere between $8K - $10K off MSRP. Don't settle for LT $7K off MSRP.

ask for an additional miles of warranty. WHen I got my 128 a few years ago, they extended the warranty to 55k miles instead of the 50k factory.
