I wouldn't be surprised if I hit 60mph in around 3.9-4sec. Might have it dyno'd in the next few weeks just to see what she is putting out. Looks like most guys are getting 370hp and around 415ft/lb torque. Not too shabby for a little coupe.

Tips were out of stock for so long, I had almost given up on getting them.
Thanks for the update. Let us know what the dyno says. I'm sure many would be interested to hear. Thanks.

Yep, they're taking responsibility. I'd prefer that my door didn't have to be taken apart though. Apparently it's never happened before.

Finally got downstate to check out the Storm King Highway. Very impressive, but NARROW - glad I ran it before all the other folks started showing up. Taconic Parkway was actually a much more enjoyable drive, hit it early enough Sunday to mostly have it to myself. And now I understand the urge to customize - downstate there are so many BMW's and other eurosports that you need something a bit over the top to even stand out. I saw more 2 series than I'd seen the whole rest of my time w/ the car (still nothing compared to the x-drives and 5/7 series).

Yes, I got them from IND. However, I just installed the M Performance front splitter and wrapped the splitter portions in Avery White Pearl vinyl and it's a near perfect match to Mineral White. I should have saved money and went that route

Decided to keep my M240i absolutely stock (well, except for the functional Bigfoot mod to the plastic above the pedals). Need to find another cheaper hobby car to modify.

Thanks for the pics. Your car look really good and I believe you just changed my mind. I have found a pair of genuine Estoril Blue Mirror covers in UK for the 1 Series for about $140 CAD including shipping. Will post pics when I get them.

Today I dropped of my base 228i 6MT coupe off @ the dealer for a 30,000 service.

I requested a 328i sedan for a loaner...I got 3,300 mile 330i loaner xdrive.

I have the loaner overnight and put about 60 miles on it today.

The 330i feels big/heavy on the road compared to my 228i.

I think it is the xdrive in the 330i compared to the to the RWD 228i.

The 330i is quick, nice auto trans....but I kept looking for the clutch with my L leg most of the day !

I also took my M235i MT in for service yesterday and received a 330e loaner. While it's not as sporty or fun to drive as my car, if I were looking for a 4 door sedan that gets good gas mileage, I'd certainly consider it. I anticipated it would feel a lot bigger to drive, but it didn't seem very noticeable to me. Of course, I also drive my wife's Q5 and my GMC truck frequently, so moving from smaller to larger vehicles is something I am fairly used to doing. Even moving from my old MINI Cooper to my 2 Series didn't feel like I was driving a bigger car. Even though the 330e is nice, I'll be very happy to get my car back later today.

Thanks man, I agree with you, they're the best 19" OEM option, in my opinion.

Today I fitted Vorsteiner VFF108's on my 228. VFF108's were just released 2 months ago and I believe they are the first Vorsteiners to ever fit a 228/235 (although many M2's have them - and they look amazing on them ). My next project is to lower on coilovers.

Managed to snap just a few pictures but will be posting more soon. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks good, but those tires look really stretched and make the wheel gaps appear much larger. I'd definitely put some appropriately sized tires high on the list.

Definitely. I think 255's, maybe 245's, would be an ideal setup.

no pics yet sorry. but for those undecided this 12/15 works well with the stock 18s.

Comfort mode has much more ass behind it while still maintaining what its supposed to be used for. Sport and Sport+ really feel like they're going to be quick. Barely had a chance to exceed 1/2 throttle so far, but I'm quite pleased already.
DaleHeinz,

Where did you get the Dinan State 1 installed? I am also in the DC area and am thinking about this.
