Really don't feel it especially the front bottom diffuser...Stick with the M2.

I understand your point in theory.

However, in reality I think whoever buys this over a M2 should see a psychologist.

Somehow, somewhere deep down inside they must not feel worthy of true M goodness.

There's something holding them back.

It's just a slightly less good M2 for the same price. M2 is just fine for a daily driver.
I find it quite ridiculous how a lot of guys on this forum think they know what car everyone should buy.

This car is likely for the guys who want as close as they can get to an AWD M2. And this will be a much better daily as well.

No one is going to going to buy this car cuz they couldn't afford the extra few thousand for the m2. They will buy it cuz they want it.

Some people really don't give a shit about the price, or what they could have gotten for a small amount more. An M2 is a great car but why is it the only good car in the whole 2 series line?

I don't like any of the splitters for the M235i/240i. In stock form it has a lot of character, with those "fangs" sticking down, and you lose that with the smoothness of the splitter. It's one car where a splitter makes it look more generic.

A big reason I'm going to keep mine largely stock is because I like the whole "wolf in sheep's clothing" thing. M2 styling, or any of the fussy aftermarket bits, take away from that.

Looks pretty good to me. The only thing I don't really like is that front splitter. It just doesn't do it for me

The car is definitely fun to drive though. I drove a 228i and really liked it. The M240i must be a joy to drive

Pretty sure the LCI got digital gauges. It looks like an LCD image of what an analog gauge would look like. Someone posted in the LCI article an image of the dash completely blank with the car off.

This shows off M Performance parts which are interchangeable with the M2 (besides exhaust). This helps promote carbon fiber trinkets that you can add to any 2 series. That's probably one of the reasons. Because a M Performance M2 would be stupid.

I'm not sure why people are getting so upset?

It's a normal M240i with the very nice BMW Performance parts added.

Many on here already want and add these parts so seriously what's the issue?

If you don't like them buy a standard M240.

If you want a more focused car get the M2.

They are there.

What you're looking at is a glare free lens with very little lighting.

Post is on front page and attracts many non-2 series owners who just think every other BMW they don't own is shit.

It's fully digital. Even in the price list they are referring to as a FULL black panel display. More pics too...

Cannot believe it's not included. I fail to see what is more "M Performance" about it.

"M Tart" maybe more apt?

Lol an F3x with no temperature gauge and fuel gauge on the sides? Shame on you for not even knowing your own car.

In case you missed it, it's an F20.
