Ah yeah I can totally believe this. I had a different but very similar realization. On the day I picked up my M2, I brought my dad along with me. Literally the first thing he said when he climbed into the backseat was that this car has more room than the 4dr Acura TSX I just traded in. I was absolutely shocked, and was fully expecting him to say "I told you so" on how impractical this thing is. Thanks for that, I can't wait!

Cheers! The sentiment hasn't changed since it started late 2016. The OGM2 is so balanced in almost every aspect it is unreal.

+1. This is an underappreciated aspect of using child seats in the M2. Better than most 4 door sedans and definitely better than the smaller ones that this might be cross shopped with.

The engine takes awhile to warm up at 1800 RPM!)

I’ve immensely enjoyed the last year and look forward to many more years to come with my M2!

Warms up much faster in comfort mode

Try 3000 rpm shifts

😉

I feel the same way about mine, except now I am having extreme Porsche GT dreams

Maybe in a few years I’ll have to fulfill those very dreams

I've owned 4 p-cars (non-gt) and managed to scratch that itch but the GT rash still persists as well...lol

Any Porsche that Andreas Preuninger and his team are given a green light to develop is simply epic

Patience is a virtue no doubt about it

I cannot wait

Back to the topic at hand…

I still absolutely adore my M2 even after 5 years of ownership

After a solid 2 months of winter hiatus, it’s going to be absolutely awesome to drive her once again

It all started when I rode in my buddy's 135i. (He has a Pure 750 installed now) He drifted around a roundabout at 55-60 mph. I about shit myself and of course I had to have one. So I went crazy one day and bought a 2018 M2. Now I just need to stay off the forums, I keep finding new mods. Such a fun car, dont think I'll ever sell it.

Appreciate it my guy. It’s from 3D Design, it’s a Japanese company. Looks sick but have to be super careful since it’s fully carbon and about half an inch off the ground lol

❤️ this thread. This is what this forum is all about! The M2(C?) subforum has lost a lot of energy in the last year or so.

I can’t wait to have owned my 2020 for 5 years. It’ll be 3 this May and my feelings echo yours. The car doesn’t get old to drive and it’s so easy to be as excited to drive it as I was the first few weeks of having it. I think if love it so much after almost 3 years, no doubt it won’t be different in another 2.

I actually haven’t been able to drive it as much as I want to and it makes me feel BAD for the car. It deserves to have its legs stretched often! It was made for that.

I don’t plan on ever selling this car. I’ll keep it until gas stations disappear completely and then look back at it and remember all the memories I had with it in the 2020s

I celebrate my “ownership birthdays” with this car because it’s such a good car. It’s full cringe but funny to me and I’ll continue to do it. No shame 😂

Sure, its a real nice car.
Sests hold you in nicely, engine is really up to the task if you choose to push it and the transmission is the smoothest ever.
Best of all, its not lacking in looks.

Sure, I don't think you see many M2s with the 19" ARC8s.
TC Kline coilovers with a 1/2 inch drop.
19x9.5 et33 255/30/19 10mm spacer
19x11 et43 305/30/19
I think the front camber is at 2.8 degrees and 2 degrees at the rear.

Thank you Sandman. They look perfect on the m2 wish they were an easier fit. How do you like that big 305 on the rear? Does it help put the power down? Are you tuned as well?
