Tinting options in CBR

Hi again.

I'm looking to get a good quality tint job for my M240i. I've only found the time to talk to Diamond Detail but there are a number of options and just wondering if anybody has a recommendation.

I'm looking for a dark charcoal or black tint. 35%. all around.

I just want the best tint film and best application possible.

Thanks.

hey mate. I'm from Canberra and I used to be a window tinter myself.

I would recommend going to see mal at tint a car in Phillip he is the best in the business and has a wide variety of films. I myself have 20% charcoal and wouldn't change it for the world but that's up to you.

Cheers Amack. I don't think tint a car is in phillip any more. I used them about 10 years ago to tint my Liberty GT-B. I'll call their fyshwick office to see if they still do cars.

what % did you end up getting?

I went with 20, tad darker than legal but well worth it IMO

I went with 35% all round. I also had BMW put in rear privacy glass. so the tint guy asked me about 3 times if I was sure I wanted 35% all round.

now it's hot, I kinda wish I went darker. but when it's winter again, I'm sure I'll be ok.
