Great! Im not wasting money on tech package this time. I rarely even use the streaming bluetooth even though its a great feature. I think premium is a more worthy option considering you get the auto dimming mirrors which are essential.

I also noticed that there is no hex trim option, only brushed aluminum

In pictures I thought I'd hate the glacier aluminum hex trim but once I got my car, I absolutely loved it.

So an M235 with some decent option will push low 50s.
I guess I just made up my mind for a low millage e92.

Agreed! Make the LSD standard! Sports car or not, not all of us want moon roofs, and on top of that, I'm buying the sports range, give me the locker!

It does make the 235 more palatable, especially since the rest of the PP is more nice to have stuff than it is stuff I care about. Now just have to pour over the other differences and see how much other crap there is on the 235 that I would not want to pay extra for. Well, and cry over no VO in the 235, of course.
looks like you would also add the dynamic handling package for the 228 to be equal to the 235 in the handling department?????

XDrive will come to Canada in August/September of 2014 as a MY2015 vehicle so I can imagine it will come to the US at the same time according to a product planning bulletin I've seen.

On page 2 it says that European Delivery will be available and announced at Launch . So, I'm guessing that N/A is just because they are not releasing the details/pricing until that time.

Building the car the way my current 135is is specced (which is with basically nothing), the M235i comes to essentially the same MSRP as the 135is was a year ago when I bought it. However, I do not imagine the discount I got would be applicable (paid under invoice) to the newer model.

Is that just the raping on the initial lot, and it will be available as a stand-alone after the first batch? Would it then be possible to get as a stand-alone in ED orders possibly? All I have to say is wow. Maybe this is the new way that BMW is doing things, and I've been even more clueless than usual on the current ordering process, but damn.
Moonroof in included at no extra charge on M235i

Doesn't look like, just different front and rear bumpers. I can't wait to see some of these slammed with some sick wide body kits on them. Gonna be a looker!

My Build

My build comes up to 45725 (228i) or 49525 (M235i) + destination/handling

I added the following(charge for 228i/M235i):
  • Paint (550/550)
  • Premium (4050/2300)
  • MSport(3000/0)
  • Cold Weather (700/550)
  • Dynamic Handling (1400/0)
  • Lighting (900/0)
  • Technology (2150/2150)
  • Premium Sound (875/875)

Total is 45725/49525.

Based on that, M235i looks like the better option for me.

Someone in this thread guessed a lease of $700/mo (not sure if they were being sarcastic)?

I'm hoping for roughly $500/mo lease with as close to invoice (Euro Delivery) pricing as possible + incentives (incl loyalty) + a reasonably downpayment if necessary ($2k - $4k max).

I also want to get a few performance parts to be port installed and incldued in the lease (all at that price)...most likely spoiler, diffuser, front lip, LSD.

That would mean about $48-49k

Looking at the leasing numbers for the 135i, this does not seem unreasonable. Is it?

The 2er will probably be my first BMW. Are folding mirrors and remote key entry standard or part of the premium package?

The M Sport on the 1 series did not give you 18" wheels it kept you in 17" wheels.

Well if it's expensive enough, then perhaps you won't mod it and destroy it while it's under warranty...
