Grille
Will the m235i grille fit on the m240i? I see many grilles on Ebay for the m235i but says will not fit the m240i. Also can someone suggest a place I can purchase the mirror caps and grille as a package.

Timely thread. Sorry to ask for further clarification, but are you saying that the kidney grilles, specifically, are sized differently for 2018? I was just preparing to order black ones to have ready to install when my 2 arrives in a couple of weeks.

I'm curious about this as well. Earlier I was assured that the 2018 M240i front is same as 2017, as I'm getting XPEL put on the full front of the car next week. If the grille's different, do I need a new plan? They only have 2017 patterns so far.

Part number for the kidney grills for M Sport package are identical 2012-2017 for all F22 and F23 models. I highly doubt they have changed this for the 2018-model, but no info is available on realoem.com yet for the 2018 update. I have not found any information what so ever indicating that the M Sport front has been changed for 2018.
I have purchased the M Performance kidney grills for my soon-to-be-delivered '18 230i, we shall see if they fit when I get the car in 2-3 weeks |

First I've ever heard about '18MY cars having different sized grilles?

I am going off of this article:
http://www.bmwblog.com/2017/05/10/wo...ible-facelift/ In which one of the changes for the LCI are described as " It also gets new, larger Kidney Grilles, which give it a wider and more aggressive look."

I asked the nice folks at getBMWparts.com, and received this reply today:
"Hi Steven, thank you fo ryour interest - yes, the grilles from the previous years for the 2 Series do carry over to the new LCI 2018 models as well. Here is a link to these on our site if you'd like to place an order. These are currently in stock and ready to ship today! Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks again, and we'll look forward to your order." When in doubt, don't just guess? :
