Yeah, no go so far. It's $1000 off on the 228 but nothing as yet on the 235.

My car will be here in about 3 weeks so I've got my fingers crossed something will come through.

My USAA auto buying service is showing $1380 off a $50,450 MSRP M235i for my area currently (Denver, CO)

Hmmm, my dealer gave me $500 USAA credit by opening an account right there at his desk while writing the deal on my M235i.

That's not the same as USAA incentive/credit.

surprised to hear that. Maybe he just gave you $500 off as dealer concession?

Odd, I was able to get 2k over invoice using USAA's car buying service for my M235i. I hope I'm not in for a rude surprise when my car arrives next month.

Nope, I had to follow-up with a call to the USAA rep on the phone and have my account information faxed to dealership. Once they received the fax the money was put into the deal.

i got a $1000 military discount from my guy. what was surprising to me was USAA was going to give me a 4.2% interest rate, where BMW gave me a 3.1%

I was told $500 USAA rebate if I leased an M235i, but nothing on the purchase. They said there is a $1,000 rebate on a 228i purchase or a $500 lease rebate on either. Anyone else confirm this from their dealer or USAA?

I spoke to both USAA and BMWNA yesterday and was told by both that there is not a USAA incentive for M235 (either purchase or lease). BMWNA confirmed there are no incentives at this time for M235.

It is possible dealers have given buyers credit on a deal but it's also possible BMWNA will not pay out to the dealers as the dealers misunderstood the terms.

Looks like USAA offers a $500 credit for leases through BMWFS. This applies to ALL models except the new X3. Click on "view offers" to see the details:

http://usaa2.zag.com/promo1.html?pro...r-list-overlay

If I'm reading that correctly, this would apply to M235i also.

Is this a mail in rebate to BMW or does the dealer take it off at the time of sale?

"Member must take retail delivery by January 2, 2015"

I guess that excludes European delivery?

Is there anyway I can delete my online account I created with USAA? I went through the whole process to find out I'm not eligible and want to take my personal information off their site.....
