So I've been actively tracking my car since I ordered it and have reached a point where the three sources of information say the following:

1. 800 number: at port awaiting a vessel

2. Bmw website: finishing touches

3 CA: car still on boat.


The car finished production on the 1st and the ca confirmed the car was on a ship a week or two later. The Electra arrived on the 27th (this is the ship that it most likely was on)

My question at this point is...Where is the car?

Did you try tracking it on the shipping company website? If the Electra is a W&W ship and you have your VIN, you can track it at 2wglobal.com.

I unfortunately don't have a vin as of yet.

Ask your CA for one. Once the car STARTS production, it is assigned a VIN.

Your CA should know the name of the boat that the car is on. Ask.
