BSM with 19" 405s

I know not everyone's a fan of the 405 rims but I think they look great against the black. Just ordered the rear diff and SS exhaust tips too.

Looks awesome mate. Mind if I ask how much you paid AUD for the rims, diff and exhaust? Cheers

Wow...I think I am in love - those look awesome on BSM - these are definitely the upgraded wheels I would choose if I ponied up for them. Congrats my man !

Sadly, not cheap. The rims were 4800AUD (and that's after the dealer gave me a trade in on the stock wheels!) Never drove it with the 18" wheels so can't really compare. Having said that, the ride on the 19s is fine. Nowhere near as harsh as I was afraid it was going to be, especially given the tyres are runflats.

Also, rear diff ordered for 735 and exhaust tips 500.

Tint is darkest legal for Melbourne (which I think is 25%). Happy to be corrected if anyone knows different.

The Run flats are garbage, Completely different ride with the Michelin super sports on the 19 rims.

I wonder is the PSS is something you can get, you just have to know to ask up front? I would have thought these would come with PSS, being M Performance wheels and all...

To the OP - you plan to do a drop at all ? A smidget lower and I think your car would look perfect.

Ok, good to know. 35% is the max here, and I know I didn't want it TOO dark, which yours isn't either. So I think it'll be good.

Yeah, in two minds what to do about the tyres. Might have to drive one with super sports to see what I'm missing out on

looks great, love the wheels too, shame they are so very expensive, don't understand why you have to buy a car with standard wheels then buy another set, should be an easy factory option!

Are these staggered? How wide are the rims and what size are the tires? Thanks

FYI: Darkest legal tint in Australia is 35%. Looks great by the way, but how BMW Australia gets away with the prices we're charged is beyond me. What a rip off.

Your dealer traded you for stoch wheels? I am going to try that with my dealer when my car gets in. I love the look of these wheels and the color.
