Just got my M240i. Love this car so far. It is my second BMW. I had a 1994 530i a long time ago. I plan on doing some modding down the road. My last car I modded was a 2003 WRX.

Think thats the full black option, but it doesnt matter, doesnt change the car nice one

The efficient dynamics cluster (digital mpg cluster) is only available if you get the navigation. Otherwise you get the manual one.

That makes sense. I don't buy nav in vehicles anymore. My phone is better and easier to update and cheaper.

Had I known that, I might have gotten the Navi. I also stuck with non nav because I tend to use Waze so much more than car navi.

As a Waze user, I also passed on nav. However, it looks like nav is needed for office (i.e., read text messages) and video playback?

Probably still not worth the cost of the nav package, but it would have been nice to know before I ordered it.

I also use Waze and for $1,950.00 i will continue to do so analog mpg gauge and all.

Apple CarPlay puts the stuff you might want to use on your phone onto the nav screen. IHeartRadio, Spotify, navigation, text messages, emails, plenty of other apps (maybe Waze). It's pretty neat, but $2k neat? All depends. I got it and CarPlay because I'm in Germany at the moment and figured I'd have the us maps put on and use the CarPlay for my navigation here off my phone. Being a us spec car in Germany, it can't connect wirelessly to BMW to activate the CarPlay. So now I am still using the maps off my phone, as it sits in a vent mount like I did before... should have opted for the EU maps >.<

I see, that's new I guess. I have no nav 235 but just have blank area there.

Unfortunately my M240i had a pretty bad scrape from a curb in the front. It happened at the dealer before I bought it. They are fixing it now so the next couple days I have a loaner 228i. So I got to play with the Nav option and reinforce my decision to not get the light color interior. This loaner has 1500 miles on it and the seats are filthy already.

Yikes...

I see an M5/M6 in the showroom every now and then with Ivory interior and cringe. I couldn't imagine getting something that light and having to maintain it.

I know. They look so good on the show room floor. My dealer has a M3 with a similar light color interior. Looks amazing but jeez after seeing this thing I can't imagine keeping it clean.
